Are you ready to elevate your skills and confidence in today’s unpredictable world? This fall, join us for an exclusive, groundbreaking course designed to prepare you for real-world threats and high-pressure scenarios like never before. Hosted by The American Warrior Society, this immersive training experience combines expert instruction, hands-on practice, and practical knowledge crafted for those who refuse to be caught unprepared.
Introducing the High Risk Environment Course (HREC)
In response to the heightened threats facing our nation, Mike Seeklander and Rich Brown of the American Warrior Society have reimagined their popular Warrior Camp. This year, they’re teaming up with top-tier specialists, including former MARSOC Operator and OGA Contractor Justin Carroll from Swift Silent Deadly, along with Will Parker of Freddie Merc’s Gun Wercs, to deliver a comprehensive, five-day live-aboard course in beautiful East Tennessee.
HREC isn’t your average shooting class. HREC is designed to equip you with practical skills for managing high-threat environments—whether urban survival, personal defense, or critical incident management. Throughout this action-packed week, you’ll learn everything from prevailing in gunfights, surreptitious lock, and door breaching using non-destructive methods to deploying less-lethal chemical munitions. You’ll also learn life-saving trauma medical techniques, how to handle violent confrontations and understand the legal and ethical frameworks governing these situations.
A Unique, Hands-On Curriculum You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
The High Risk Environment Course encompasses a broad spectrum of skills relevant to today’s complex urban landscape. The tuition includes five nights of lodging at the historic Cedar Lodge, located on the Clyde M. York 4-H Center grounds, right on the scenic banks of East Tennessee. Enjoy relaxing evenings on the back deck with a gas grill, satellite TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a front porch perfect for soaking in the fall colors and spotting local wildlife.
Your training will include certification courses, such as:
- Justin Carroll’s UNLOC I & II, (Lockpicking And Non-Destructive Breaching)
- Will Parker’s Sabre Red’s OC Course (Pepper Spray Certification)
- Law of Self-Defense Level I (Use of Force Certification)
- TCCC Course (Tactical Combat Casualty Care Certification
- Combatives (Weapons Retention and Unarmed Self-Defense)
- Mike Seeklander’s Defensive Handgun Course, including low-light shooting
- Lunches are provided daily, and the course concludes with a social event and guided bourbon tasting at Rich Brown’s farm.
Special Features and Breakout Sessions
Beyond hands-on skills, HREC offers informal breakout sessions—featuring static displays and demonstrations on bug-out bags, vehicle setups, digital privacy, kidnapping countermeasures, and restraint defeat techniques. These sessions are designed to enhance your overall preparedness, making you more competent and dangerous in any scenario.
