Two years ago I wrote an article on the Realistic Bug Out Bag. With the election just eleven short months away, I want to once again shift my focus back to preparedness. I want to encourage people to be prepared for potential “negative outcomes” during another politically charged election seasons. Today, I’m going to give you a look at a better bug out bag (B.O.B.). Hopefully this will make the topic more approachable.

A Better Bug Out Bag (B.O.B.)
The Bug Out Bag (also: bugout bag, B.O.B.) is not the best place to start with preparedness. You are simply much more likely to stay in your home, and in most cases better off for doing so. But the B.O.B. is what sparked me into preparedness years ago. If it gets you started and ultimately gets you more prepared, then it’s a fine place to start. Secondly, bug out bags are often geared toward dreams of “heading for the hills,” and “living off the land.”
My B.O.B. is pretty mundane, but it is built for real-world emergencies: hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, and earthquakes. Watch the video to learn more.
